If you’re not sure, I have listed seven questions to help you decide if ALFBK Six-Week Program I is right for you.
My program is a health and wellness program. There are workouts, nutritional guidelines, and other lifestyle guidelines to follow. There are actions that I ask you to check off and maybe quick forms to answer throughout the program. This helps me monitor your progress and how well you are sticking to the program. Accountability is very important for your success. I won’t penalize you if you don’t check off actions or fill out forms, but I will definitely check in with you to see how you are coming along.
There are weekly group meetings with myself and others following the program. These meetings are for checking in, asking questions, and learning from other people’s questions. You may or may not choose to participate in the group meetings. It is not mandatory. But there you might find some valuable information, hear questions you hadn’t thought about, and receive lots of support!
There are certain conditions that I cannot help people with. If you have a condition that you aren’t sure I can help and/or work with, we can discuss this during your free 15-minute consultation.

Online Health & Fitness Coaching Vs. In-Person Personal Training
Did you know that the average range of the price of in-person training, 1 hour, twice per week, in 2022, was $49-$300 per hour, or an average of $349 per week? Six weeks at this rate is $2,094. Trainers holding a master’s degree and celebrity trainers generally earn more. That is for only 2 hours each week.
The main difference between the two is that you have someone with you when you are doing your exercises. Important: When you are doing exercises in between your scheduled workouts, you are on your own. I almost always assigned exercises and workouts to my in-person clients when I was in-person training. When you are working with an online trainer or coach, you are doing everything on your own, without someone physically with you.
Personal trainers (in-person) have a few advantages over online training and coaching. They can build a trainer-client relationship a little easier, physically help you with form and stretching, and many help you set up machines and weights, or do it for you. However, they have very little to do with helping you during the time you are not meeting. And scheduling time with each other is a hassle, especially when one or both of you travel.
Most in-person trainers are focused on workouts. Many offer little nutritional advice, or lifestyle habits suggestions, or mental focus guidelines, stress reduction exercises, or sleep habits to improve your recovery and energy levels. In short, most in-person trainers are there for the exercises. Not all. But most that I have known, and still know. There is nothing wrong with this. I spent most of my career doing in-person training. I really enjoy it and if I could reach more people, I would probably still do this. But there are only so many hours in each day.
Online trainers and coaches have the advantages of offering a program that works with you no matter where you are, or what time you are available. We also keep track of your progress more consistently. There are no “in between session” days or weeks for online coaching. There is a consistent 2-way communication process for information and encouragement, and occasionally a kick in the keister to get you back on track! In fact, the only scheduled part of my programs you participate with me is a weekly online meeting, which is optional for you. And, considering the 24/7 messaging capabilities of my app, any questions or comments you have throughout the program can be answered quickly, with no need for a weekly meeting. The weekly meeting is simply another service offered within the program.
In other words, in-person training is wonderful for seeing and correcting your exercise form. With my program, you have videos for most of the exercises I assign. And with every exercise, I have written a description for it. If you are unsure of your form, watch, read, or message me.
Outside of this, my online coaching programs offer so much more for you. And that is the biggest reason I transitioned to the online coaching platform. I can help more people, and I can offer more services above and beyond in-person training.

Most people meet with their trainer twice per week and have no communication in between. My online coaching allows for communication, guidance, support, and encouragement daily, if necessary. This was one of my many frustrations with in-person training. It was very difficult to hold someone accountable on the days I did not see them.
